Cheers Fabrice, as I mentioned in my feedback through the Teched Session site it was a bit of a shame to see only one Groove Session on the schedule. Hopefully once the NDA loosens up a bit you guys will be able to say more on the next version and get some interest going.

Thanks Alistair for this feedback....

Covering the whole "Groove" topic in about 1 hour is not easy, and it's quite frustrating for me not having time to deepen each point... There's a lot to say about features and tools provided OOTB by Groove, about architecture, about security, about dev capabilities on Forms or using Web Services, about integration with SharePoint or other BackOffice applications, about Business Uses Cases...

This session was an overview of all this... Hope we will have opportunities to have more (and so more deepened) sessions related to Groove in the future.

If you are going to TechEd Developers Barcelona, I have created a group on TechEd connect called "SharePoint Rolling Stones " (sorry, this is the best I could come up with).

This is in the developer section - I am not sure if the group is visible if you are going to the IT week.

There are some good SharePoint sessions, so it should be an interesting conference. Please join the group if you going. Cheers,

Going through my own walkthrough testing of the above I discovered a real problemw with this approach. The guid required actually relates to the individual record, not the object, so back to the drawing board.

Doing more searching helped me to find an alternative approach based around triggering the autoresolve functionality in CRM 4.0. I will post this proper approach soon.
